Place To Belong
Our strategy to 2035 will help us keep the focus on what we do best - giving Young People a #PlaceToBelong and teaching them #SkillsForLife.
Welcome to 1st Great Wyrley Scout Group
1st Great Wyrley Scout Group is based in Great Wyrley, Cannock. We are members of Cannock Chase District Scouts.
Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling, and canoeing. But, we also get to hang out with our friends (old and new) every week - having fun, playing games, working in a team, and taking on new challenges.
At 1st Great Wyrley Scouts, we give Young People across Great Wyrley and Cannock Chase a #PlaceToBelong and the chance to have adventures, make lasting friendships, and develop #SkillsForLife. From Beavers through to Scouts, our Young People get involved in everything from outdoor adventures and camping to games, challenges, and community activities.
Sign up to help your Young Person discover their "thing": from abseiling to coding to performing arts, and everything in between.
