Annual General Meeting
What is an AGM?
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity for members, parents, volunteers and supporters of 1st Great Wyrley Scout Group and the wider community to come together and hear about how the Group has been doing over the past year.
It's also a chance to look at our plans for the future, hear about the work of our volunteers and understand how the Group is being managed.
It's not just a meeting!
We want our AGM to be a relaxed opportunity for our community to come together, have some fun and support the Group.
AGM Details
What will happen?
We'll start with the formal part of the AGM, where we'll provide an update on the Group and look back at the past year.
We'll also talk about our plans for the future and the continued development of 1st Great Wyrley Scout Group.
Once the formal business is complete, we'll move on to the more social side of the evening.
Then it's time to have some fun!
We'll have bingo, a tombola and plenty of opportunity to catch up with other members of our community.
Fundraising
The AGM will also help us raise funds for 1st Great Wyrley Scout Group.

Get involved in our bingo and see if you can take home a prize while helping raise money for the Group.
🎁 Tombola
We'll also have a tombola running during the evening, giving you another chance to win while supporting our Young People.
Bring Your Own Booze
We're keeping things relaxed, so you're welcome to bring your own alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks along with you.
If you are bringing alcohol, please remember to drink responsibly and ensure that you have a safe way of getting home afterwards. Alcoholic bevarages are only to be consumed by those over the age of 18 and all Young People require family supervision.

The AGM isn't just for Trustees - it's an opportunity for our wider community to get involved and find out more about what's happening within 1st Great Wyrley Scout Group.
Parents, Carers, Young People, Volunteers and Supporters are all welcome.
